| A 18th CENTURY VILLA IN FLORENCE |
This Bed & Breakfast was born in a Florentine villa from the late 18th century, entirely restored during the past two years. The restoration has maintained both structure and atmosphere, but also provided the necessary modernization of the facilities.
It is situated in proximity of the city centre and is easily reachable by car and public transport.
This 3-storey B&B welcomes its guests in a charming structure, with elegant spacious bedrooms all with private bathrooms, with shower or bath, and decorated with hand-painted tiles from Vietri, a city in the South of Italy renowned for its ceramics.
All rooms have been furnished with family pieces of furniture and paintings, but very modern and comfortable beds and with air conditioning, heating and the lcd-TVs.
The dining room and one of the living rooms upstairs have undergone a restoration that brought back the original frescoes to their splendour.
The Italian garden which surrounds the villa is protected by the Ministry of Environment and contains typical Tuscan plants such as irises, magnolias, roses and lemon trees in their earthenware vessels. A laurel hedge separates the garden from the orchard with its herbs, and fruit and olive trees. From the bottom of the garden and some rooms upstairs you can see Il Duomo.

Due to its ancient origins, there are no lift facilities. They provide daily cleaning.
