These courses are offered in collaboration with ISTITUTO GALILEI located in the centre of FLORENCE. We offer various formulas like, One-to-one, two-to-one and Small groups of maximum 4 persons.

The school of Italian language was established in 1985, with the aim of providing high quality linguistic services to private people and multi-national companies in need to learn the basics as well as to improve the Italian language up to the highest levels in little time. That is the reason why the Institute Galilei specializes in one-to-one and small group courses with max. four (4) students per class.

Today, the school also offers one-to-one and small group courses in Italian culture such as art history, Italian cooking, and drawing & painting (taught in Italian, English, and on request in other languages). These courses complete the services of the Institute Galilei allowing a practical and immediate approach not only to the Italian language but also to the main aspects of the Italian culture.

Art History (3 hours per day)

Our art history programs are held in great part directly on sight, in the museums, churches and places, where the art works studied are located to permit to experience the great masterpieces first-hand.
For whom is simply curious and wants to know more about the famous Renaissance art than it is written in a guide. For whom already has a good knowledge of art history, our experienced teachers will go in-depth by establishing a personalized program.

Drawing and painting (4 hours per day)

Drawing & painting program for all levels. Study in the art studio under an experienced artist the aspects of drawing / painting you always wanted to know/deepen.

DBeginners are introduced to the world of signs and colours, amateurs and art lovers are encouraged to develop a personal style and way of expression.

Italian language (2 hours per day)

This short program is created for beginners who wish study the “survival” Italian, as well as for the people with advanced Italian levels who need to refresh the previous language knowledge, to study some particular aspect of the Italian grammar or correct the pronunciation, to learn some specific vocabulary.

Italian language (4 hours per day)

This intensive Italian program is especially designed for those who have only little time to study, and want to make the most out of it. This course enables the students to put the learned grammar structures directly into practice as it assures a high degree of active participation at the lesson and has a really personalized program.

On request we can schedule your Italian language course for 3, 6 o 8 hours per day.
All our programs can be combined (i.e. Italian language in the morning and Drawing and painting in the afternoon)
