MARIACLAUDIA GHERARDINI
Founder and CEO of Secret Tuscany consultants.
Italian, born in Florence and with degree in Literary Criticism from the University of Florence.
Mariacludia is from the Gherardini family one of the most illustrious old Florentine families, and a descendant of Monna Lisa (Gherardini) known as ‘La Gioconda'. Leonardo painted her at the one time residence of the Gherardini family, the villa of Vignamaggio near Greve in Chianti; a place witness to bloody battles between the Guelf and Ghibelline, in which many of her ancestors participated.
She travels much between Florence and New York, and in professional curriculum already boasts many important names, she is motivated by her great enthusiasm and remained faithful to her travel philosophy; always made to measure, of high quality and for civilized travelers. She personally meets her clients as they travel through Florence, because it is they that turn her work from being a job into a passion.

ÅSA JOHANSSON
Åsa Johansson, Italian lover since childhood, grew up in Stockholm, Sweden and moved to Italy in 2001. She studied the Italian language and has also a degree from the University of Florence in Media and Journalism. During the past years she's been working as a guide on Wine and Food Tours all over Italy and as a professional interpreter. Åsa is now in charge of the Swedish part of Secret Tuscany that opened in 2009, she plans group and private tours in Italy with a special attention to wine & food experiences. She also writes about Italian food and wine for several Swedish magazines and newspapers.

ALESSIA ROSSINI
Alessia was born in Italy, but she grew in a multilingual context, as her mother was an English and French teacher.
She passed most of her summer holidays of her childhood in the United Kingdom and Ireland. After a degree in History of Art at the University of Perugia, she continued her studies in Paris for 2 years with a scholarship.
She also made a Master in Preservation of Culture Heritage at the University of Siena, at the end of which she passed 3 months in stage at the Louvre Museum with a scholarship of the Region of Tuscany.
She is guide of both Siena and Florence, she has got a great enthusiasm for her job that she thinks has to be a mix of education, but also entertainment.

Meeting people from all over the world has always fascinated me, I also like to travel and get deeper into different cultures, I love cinema and wine too. I am fluent in English, in German and in French. Jacopo Tendi, is a Florentine Professional Chef , he has great skill and patience and with passion will pass on to you his knowledge of Tuscan cooking and its culinary secrets. He has been a chef in some of the finest restaurants in Florence, but his passion for teaching gives him more scope for his skills, from organized dinners in Tuscan country villas, to brief cooking courses for amateurs and finally to his professional weekly courses. What Jacopo is to the cooking experience, Anna Bigi is to the art of cooking desserts and sweets , she's a professional with excellent knowledge of this particularly delicious aspect of the cooking experience.

Emma is a Florentine lady that started as a director of an Indian & international cookery school, then she founded and managed – for 8 years - the famous Florentine chocolate bar “Hemingway”. Actually she’s retired, but she didn’t loose her passion for cooking. She’s also a certified olive oil taster acknowledged by the Regione Toscana.
