If you are a wine lover, gourmet enthusiast, or art and culture seeker these private itineraries have been created to offer you a complete overview of some of the most beautiful areas of Tuscany. Discover what ‘gourmet’ means to the Italians, by exploring some of the many vineyards of Tuscany and the foods and culinary traditions that have grown up along side the wines.
Imagine yourself being taken around Tuscany’s cultural treasures by a friendly and enlightened expert, someone who will illuminate and bring to life the rich tapestry that is Italy’s cultural heritage. The winemakers or the estate workers, will take you round their cellar and vineyards, introducing you to the processes of wine making and explaining to you the secrets used for making great wines. The visits are always followed by a wine tasting, which often includes a delectable sample of food specialties that may also be produced on the estate, such as extra virgin olive oil, cheeses…

HOW IT WORKS?

The itineraries take up an entire day and last approximately 8 hours and are exclusively organized for private parties. We arrange to pick you up in the morning from where you are staying in a private car / mini van with a driver and we drop you back at your accommodation at the end of the day. In a one-day tour you can expect to visit one to two wine estates and some of the small towns in the vicinity. Lunch will be at a restaurant or Trattoria selected from amongst the best in the region, where you'll find out what typical and genuine Tuscan cuisine is all about. You can either choose to be taken with an with an English speaking escort who will guide you through the day, introducing you to the territory and it's history, while creating a friendly, relaxed and informed atmosphere. In which case the driver and escort will pick you up at your accommodation in the morning and drop you off at the end of the day. Or you can choose to follow your itinerary unguided just yourselves and your driver, who will take you through the planned route that you have chosen.
