.......you can have a light lunch in a Trattoria. During the middle ages this walled town was surrounded by 72 towers. These towers were a status symbol for noble families where the higher the tower, the greater the image of wealth and importance. Amazingly, 14 of the original towers still stand today making a striking silhouette, and on a clear day you can see them on the horizon from kilometres away.

After spending a couple of hours in this precious town, you will proceed toward Radda in Chianti to visit a wine producer and expert, that will allow you to explore the Siennese area of the Chianti region. The estate you will visit, has greatly improved its wine quality over the past few years.
